When are you open and what times?
The Sunflower fields are CLOSED for 2024
 
Maize maze Entry
If you have already paid for entry in the sunflower fields it's and additional £4 per person, under 4s no extra charge.
 
If you wish to enter just the Maze and not visit the sunflowers, entry is:
£6 - per adult 16+
£4 - per child 4+
Under 4s free

NIGHT MAZE
Torchlit Maze - £6 pp - Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult
Bring a torch or ensure your phone is charged to use that to navigate the maze.


Do I need to bring secateurs? 
Yes please, we do have a small amount to hire but there can be a long wait for them at busy times. Please bring extra change if you need secateurs as donation to local causes is required to hire.

Can I bring a dog? 
Sorry No Dogs or other animals during normal opening hours! But dogs can visit on dog night which is on a Thursday from 5pm (please confirm open before travel via our  Live updates)
No other pets allowed

Do I need to book?
Its normally just turn up in the day time, cash or card on the gate. Evening events and the torchlit maze are bookable online, due to capacity we recommend booking to avoid disappointment on the door. check live updates for opening times and if tickets required for some evening events

Can I wear Flip flops / sandals?
We don't recommend it. Its a uneven field with lots of sharp ground. please wear strong covered shoes.

I'm a photographer wanting to take pictures of my clients?
Please just turn up and pay our normal entry fee for you and your clients. We have a few rules you must follow, we do not allow big props or lighting rigs to be brought on site. If using our props, please only use for a couple of photos to allow our other customers to use as well, so please don't set up next to them. No damaging the flowers to make the perfect shot! 

Is there toilets in the field?
Yes (please note these is no baby change facilities at the fields)

Can I Fly a drone?
No we don't allow drones on site.

Can I arrange a coach trip?
This must be pre arranged, as our main car park is unsuitable for coaches. please contact us via the form on our contact us page

 

How much is it?
Day time picking entry
£6 - 16+ entry (includes 3 free sunflowers)
£4 - Child 12+ (includes 3 free sunflowers)
Children under 12 - FREE to enter with paying adult (no sunflowers included)
All children must be accompanied by a paying adult
 
Children should not be using secateurs on site ever, over 18s only

Additional cost for wild flower picking - £5 per tube, £6 small vase, £10 large vase

Where is the field?
Its not at the farm shop, please click here 
Use post code PO11 0RT and follow the road signs. drive slowly so you don't miss them. 

St Peters Road, Northney, Hayling Island.
There is plenty of free parking in the field (Not suitable for lowered cars)
Coaches must be pre arranged, as our main car park is unsuitable for coaches. please contact us via the form on our contact us page

Nearest train station - Havant
Nearest bus stop (Castleman's lane, Hayling Island - 20/25min walk from bus stop, walk down castlemans lane and when you get to the bottom turn right, its sign posted from here! this route is not accessible by wheelchair/mobility cart/ town pushchair, please drive or taxi to the postcode
(taxi - ask driver to take you to PO11 0RT and follow signs for sam's sunflowers)


Do you have food on site? 
Yes, we have a snack shack, serving hot and cold drinks, ice creams, cake, cream tea, and cold food - Sandwiches, kids lunch bags and sausage rolls. We also have the grill and bar onsite, the grill and bar are usually open Thurs - Sunday. Accepts cash or card payments.  

Can I bring a Picnic?
No Picnics allowed in the fields but if you wish you can picnic at your car in the car park, please take rubbish home.

When do the sunflowers finish or close?
It ends when the sunflowers are over, this is depending on weather as the sunflowers go over depending on what weather we have had. We hope to be open until the end of August/early Sept. Please do not message us to ask, we do not know and will update as soon as we start getting near to the end.

Do I need to pay if I don't want to pick?
Yes, Its a pick your own field and entry is to pick flowers. 

Can I bring a Pushchair?
Yes, Its a field but is mostly accessible with a pushchair
