Dog night at sam's sunflowers

Each year during our Sunflower Picking season we host 'Dog Night'. During the day we don't permit dogs on site but on Thursday evenings we encourage you to bring your furry friends to the fields to make use of all the props across the acres of sunflowers, go on a nice long dog walk, have a drink, a sing, a bite to eat or treat your dog with goodies from Wild Pup Shop who set up for her first season in 2024 and we can't wait to have her back again!

Sunflower picking

The fields are open for picking on dog night, we do close picking just before sundown as the fields become dangerous in the dark!

Food, drink and music!

Our swing grill, bar and country stage will be open for the duration of dog night serving great food and drink and immersing you in a country evening in the sun (sun never guaranteed, it's summer in England after all)

Disclaimer

Sam's sunflowers is situated on a live agricultural farm, we provide a great experience but we can't guarantee the weather. If dog nights turn out to be rainy, chances are they will still go ahead (unless we announce otherwise) If you decide not to attend due to the weather, your ticket will not be refunded. If we cancel the event, you will be refunded for your ticket price

wild pup shop

For the first time in 2024 we asked Samm if she'd like to set up with us on dog night and she jumped into gear with all the collars, treats, tags, bandanas, leads and accessories you all could ever need for your pooches. Together we hosted competitions to win goodies and you all loved the products she had to offer so we'll hopefully be seeing Samm again at the fields for more dog nights!

Leads & cleaning

We do ask that you keep your dog on lead on the farm to ensure any less confident dogs also get the chance to enjoy an evening stroll in the sunflower fields. We also ask you to please clean up after your dogs, we want to keep dog nights going but if waste is left we may consider closing the nights.

PHOto opportunities

Across the sunflower and wildflower fields we place a variety of props that make great photos! They're available everyday but on dog night your dogs can get involved too! Pose them on the hay bales, tractors, bikes, trucks and more!
